“To live as oneself is music, but living as someone else is just noise.”
These comics were first printed on December 14, 2009 through December 18, 2009. The subject satarized in their panels demonstrates the idea that people in society had long before decided to go their own ways in this world and fight against social norms, most for personal lifestyle reasons and not just for public attention or to “make noise” as so many people seem to be doing today. I say this, to “make noise,” simply because when one person, or a group, live a lifestyle or a particular way of life they usually do so with intentions to continue this lifestyle or way of life for the rest of their lives because they really have no other choice—this is who they are; but when one person, or a group, “choose” to live a lifestyle or a particular way of life simply to cause waves or because it appears to be the new fad, these are the behaviors that cause problems for the people who have no other choice but to live in such manners and begin to make the actions of these people, these people who just want to be accepted for who they are, seem ludicrous and outrageous because they are bunched in with the people who are jumping on the next “in” thing.
