Usually captivated by color, this artist seems to have accomplished the same effect on me, although through opposite means. His use of color is cautious, though poignant when employed, choosing to concentrate on darker hues. I believe his work intrigues me because of his distinct detailing and marvelous use of depth-perception. It appears he accomplished this with his skilled shading or darkening of his choice colors, but this novice can only speculate.
