A Thousand Years ; Christina Perri ; The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, 2011
I have to be honest...I loved the Twilight novels and I loved the movies, with the exception of Taylor Lautner's performances (he almost single-handedly ruined the movies for me). The stories do not lend themselves to rereadability, such as the Harry Potter series (I've read each of those three times each), but my initial readings of Bella's adventures with the undead were quite enjoyable, excited each night to disappear into Forks and Bella's interesting, hurricane-like thoughts (and yes, I believe "Bella" was the perfect, unemotional role for Kristen Stewart, because Bella didn't emote outwardly).
Even though I loved the series, I never noticed Miss Perri's song until my current girlfriend/wife (we consider ourselves married) said this song described our relationship. And I must admit, she is spot on. The second after she played this song for me, it instantly became one of my favorites, and I've never spun the radio dial away from it since.
