Everybody Knows ; Leonard Cohen ; I'm Your Man, 1988
Despite being linked to one of my all-time favorite movies, Pump Up the Volume, I love this song's rather entertaining and sometimes humorous lyrics, the unconventional and nostalgic sound, and the hypnotizing voice of Mr. Cohen. Covered numerous times, the original is by far the best version, simply because of Mr. Cohen's deep, almost menacing vocals.
