Greatest Characters Ever Written 12

"Charlotte" ; 1952 ; E.B. White

The only spider I'd ever consider letting live if it entered my home;
Her story speaks volumes concerning self-confidence, relationships, tolerance, and finding beauty in unattractive corners

Her story still brings tears to my eyes, not because of how it ends, but because of the longing for a person in my life who possesses one ounce of the strength her webbing does, who feels no obligation to spin it for me, but still does.
