Even as young as Miss Portman was in this performance, I knew she was going to do great things in her career. Cast as sort of an "angel/devil on your shoulder" or "childhood conscience" type of character, her dialogue required her to relay some deep and meaningful insight to the main character of this film, and despite her young age, she accomplishes a believable persona, one on the cusp of womanhood but still encumbered with a "child-like" innocence.
