Running Rampid vs. Running Rampant

“RUNNING RAMPID”

This phrase is commonly used in every day speech, although I have seen it in print…but…uh…“rampid” is not a word.

“RUNNING RAMPANT”

This is the correct phrase using an actual word, “rampant,” which means to “occur without restraint, frequently, widely, or menacingly; rife.”
