Cement vs. Concrete

CEMENT

A very fine powder, consisting of limestone and other materials, which absorbs water, acting as a binder to hold concrete together.

CONCRETE

A composite material consisting of water, aggregate, and cement.

Basically, concrete cannot be made without cement, but they are distinctly separate products. Also, cement is a viable product used as a binder in other products as well.
