~Why I Use Words~
Every time pen flirts with paper,
enthusiastic emotions rush from the soul.
Broken hearts, heated opinions, and considerate considerations
jump from the page, spiraling solid and whole.
You vanish deep into its words
experiencing the magic of its story,
wallowing in its misery
or basking in its glory.
For a time you are a hero
and the woman sits beside you in awe.
Everyone is listening to your complaints,
believing every vision you saw.
You kiss the lips of the woman you adore
and unlock the door to her heart.
You solve a world problem for an hour,
stopping society from falling apart.
She becomes an angel for eternity,
a revisited memory from time to time.
A child’s eyes open a little wider to life
as his mind grows wiser from line to line.
It’s not a chore to create a solution
or spawn a sense of unwavering chivalry.
It’s easy to put your feelings into words
when your inspiration burns so vividly.
Fantasies comes to life for hours
and reality dances with your dreams.
You’re the king and queen of all the lands
and in every crop, lives creams.
Why do I use words, you might ask?
Because words do all of the above.
And if only for a few hours,
with me, the girl is in love.
